Documents are available for viewing in hard copy format at the Clerk's Office in Prosser or Kennewick. Please contact the Clerks office for further information on historical cases.
Birth, Death, Marriage, and Divorce Certifications can be obtained through the Washington State Department of Health, Center for Health Statistics. Additionally, these records can be obtained via the VitalChek Network on the Internet.

RCW 36.18
a.) The fee for preparing, copying or certifying any instrument on file of record filed in the Clerk's Office is $5.00 for the first page, and $1.00 for each additional page, per document, certified with or without seal. Documents cannot be separated or partially copied.
b.) For searching records for which a written report is issued, there shall be a fee of $30.00 per hour or any portion of an hour.
Additional fees will be charged for providing noncertified copies by e-mail or you can attach a self addressed stamped envelope with your request.
Note: There is no fee for viewing documents at the courthouse.
Case files are not to be removed from the Clerks office except for the purposes stated in LCR 79. Cases can be viewed at the Clerks office in Prosser or Kennewick from the hours 8am-12pm and 1pm -4pm. As stated above, there is a fee for copying any documents.
