
The Benton County Clerk's office provides support to the local judiciary by:
- Managing all court documents
- Providing calendars and dockets for hearings and trials
- Safekeeping of documents and case files
- Issuing writs and bench warrants ordered by the court
- Handling and management of trust funds held by order of the court.
In addition, the Benton County Clerk's office processes passport applications for the U.S. Passport Agency, manages collections for the purpose of collecting legal financial obligations from criminal defendants and administers the jury system for both Superior and District Courts.

The Benton County Clerks office does not handle District Court cases such as traffic infractions, misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors. Please contact Benton County District Court for information regarding these cases.
