Anyone wishing to contac
t an inmate in the Benton County Jail should be advised that the jail does not accept incoming calls for inmates. The following opportunities exist for communicating with our inmates.
US Mail
You may receive letters from your inmate and you may write to them. We accept only deliveries via US Mail. Packages may not be sent and will be returned to sender at your expense. You may send letters, cards and photos. All mail is opened and searched by Jail staff. You may not send: stationery, stamps, envelopes, pencils, pens, Polaroid photos, and nothing can contain glues, stickers, paint, glitter or whiteout. Any unidentifiable substance will be treated as contraband. Any items of a sexually explicit nature or that in any way threaten the safety and security of this facility will be returned to sender or stored in the inmate's property until release. These decisions will be at the sole discretion of the Corrections Staff.
You may arrange for books and periodicals to be sent to inmates but they must come directly from the publisher or vendor (i.e. Amazon.com, Tri-City Herald, etc…)

Inmates are permitted to make outbound collect calls, and to use calling cards which the purchase from commissary.
Individuals wishing to setup a pre-paid account to accept collect calls or to have their phone number blocked to prevent calls from inmates may do so by contacting the jails phone service provider. The phone service provider for inmate calls is Evercomm and their number is 800-844-6591
Visitation
These are conducted via video conference either over the Internet or from the jail lobby.
Inmates may have up to 3 people on their visitation list and each person may visit once a week.
If the inmate has chosen a sole visitor that visitor can visit one time a day and twice per week.
